Wow! Dass Meditation in dieser Größenordnung "10,000 to 50,000 h over time periods ranging from 15 to 40 years" grundlegende strukturelle Veränderungen am Gehirn bewirkt, wundert mich nicht!
10.000 Stunden ist die Zahl, von der man auch annimmt, dass man eine beliebige Fertigkeit (Sport, Musik, Handwerk, ...) intensiv üben muss, um sie auf Weltklasse Niveau zu beherrschen. Das sind ungefähr 8 Stunden am Tag, jeden Tag, über drei Jahre!
